Recommended Posts

been reading thru a while now in the forum ... it seems that the option for tuning up the super charger w204 is dead ..

anyone has any suggestion ? Just need to optimise the Fuel/air mixture, even out some power torque and hopefully improve the throttle response

thx

I have a piggyback from MKB, got it from Benzline. Boost my HP to 197, torque to 273Nm. W204 facelift, 1.6L Kompressor.

Nope ...manage to contact Dr Hannson via a number but stop reply after 2 message 5 days ago ... One guy is on DTE(exlcusive motor sport) and awaiting field report from him ...

Spoke to one of the sponsors here ... about 1K  piggy back include dyno tune. 4 to 5 runs. I am skeptical on my car as can be very siong on old engine  .. installer say got to take engine pass 6 k rpm ..

Yup $1k is a very good price. I got my MKB for $1800. Had to also pay for my own dyno.

DTE does not have anything for the kompressor for now ...

the reply from them

"thank you very much for your inquiry!

Unfortunately we cannot offer a piggy back ecu for your C200 kompressor (W204).

We only have the piggy back ecu for C200 CGI 184PS which has direct injection."

level z, thanks for the PM. I spent quite a while to look for a pb a year back? But no reliable sources yet. dr Hannson and MKB from benzline do not have 180k liao. Rather they already move on to research chips for turbochargers liao. Kleeman comes with pulley or something in a set, but I think can only get used ones. Racechip also only for turbocharger. Unichip for c180k sounds great but many pple tell me cannot, or rather do at your own risk because they are not built specifically for c180k. So unless there is a PB that is well tested on a 180k, I will also not try on my car because the consequences could be great. So far I only trusted MKB but too bad, still waiting for a second hand one in good condition. haha.

I did a kapo check with them and apparently they have it for C180 1.6L Kompressor .

"yes this System is for Kompressor. It is a piggy back which will be connected on Boost sensor 1 and 2 in combination with reference camshaft sensor"

"you can expect + 28 hp and +50 NM torque. In the attachment the instruction guide. We can ship to Singapore for 30€"

Saw some mismatched information on the sensors positioning in the instruction guide and awaiting for their clarification.

Anyone on this DTE FSR system?
