Want to install but SE say may void warranty...

Ya, installing a DVR with a power saver would probably be one of the most minute mod (if it is considered a mod). Compared to exhaust, engine tuning, changing of springs, etc.

2nd day onwards the device no power light indication. They say maybe merc car sensitive can't use w power saver. When on the way back on expressway. Car suddenly lose power. Only 60km/h speed. Went back workshop and they redo wiring. So far ok...

Yup. No power saver and direct connect to DVR.

it will still record when in park mode. just that it will keep draining the battery.

not sure wat was the power saver brand.

so far no other issue.
