Hi guys.. Got a noob question.. Need advice. Today my w204 meter cluster showed that left brake/tail light message. Being a bit slow I only realised it could be brake/tail light blown. Indeed it is. So my question is.. Where can I go get it fixed, besides c&c? Sorry for such a question..

Most workshop could help you replace your bulb. example Autobac and such they sell bulbs

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

1 pair would cost around $5-$100 depends on brand and also the power

Send to the workshop they would be able to replace for you.

btw if you have the 2 or more bulbs errors at the same time there might be a possibility of burned wire

Burned wire.. That sounds very bad.. Shouldn't be that I suppose..

Need to see what bulb is it for the brake tail lamp.. Shouldn't be too ex..

Mine at the 6th month mark threw out lots of bulb errors, calling out the rear lights eg. tail, brake and side. All were working, but the signal left/right blinked faster than usual, suspected that the computer wrongly detected no bulb installed. The errors miraculously disappeared after I parked for a while.

At the boot, on the side there is a compartment. Open it up and reseat all the connections. You may see some frayed bits, I think it is a known issue for the harness.
