Where is....?

been driving the FL w204 for almost 2 month now, but still cant find the following:

 

1. Volume indicator that tell me what is the volume now

2. Today date

 

Any gurus can help?

Mercedes ask us to use ear to listen to loudness.. pointless to indicate as a 10 or 20 to me may sound different to another person.

Even different media have different loudness at same vol level.

I believe that the date can only be found on settings menu. Time/Date adjust.
