anything you change that is not from the authorised dealer will risk having your warranty void.

This has been a popular concern which i had comtemplate in the beginning too.

 

This is a very simple mod......to me not so high risk vs changing internal parts.

Strange thing is that I called to enquire (non- C n C) and was quoted same price as C n C!!??

 

So why bother to go to non C n C to install? Same price rather go to C n C to install.....at least peace of mind.

Well peace of mind not necessarily comes in the form of one off..... if electronics or wiring have any issues can be assured of rectification to be done by C n C and most of all....accountability....afterall which after market company out there can compete with C n C in terms of reputation to upkeep.  C n C brand is worth much more than any after market firms so they will have to ensure a good job done....

Agreed too.. Just an important point to add.. The advantage of installing at outside workshop is cheaper cost compared to CnC. If it cost almost the same, then where would you install?
