My take is that when the fuel needle goes below the 1/4 mark, I try to topup the petrol already. Why bother going through the mental stress of seeing how much more the car can go when the reserve ligh

does the red or yellow apply to FL W204? Have been hitting the yellow and was wondering if there will be another another warning.

Think I just hit the red reserve tank warning just now. Needle almost pointing to empty tank. Mine is the fl w204.

Yellow only 59L? And all the way down? Mine haven reach Reserve drink close to 65L le

pumped 59 litres...

only yellow indicated on my W203.

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

Fuel tank oso not so big lah... His tank Max is 62 ltrs.... My E class max is 73 ltrs... your S class is has a capapcity of almost 80 ltrs.... So frankly if your gas reaches yellow light  at the same mileage as us... you S class is really thirsty... Please don compare... we don have a rich dad like U... Just FYI my ride gives me 560-580 when it reaches yellow light... just in case U asked...

Funny thing abt my W211. I don't know how far I travelled with Mileage remaining 0km.

I've ever Pumped 81litres before full to the Brim. Whereas my Manual states tank as 70L only.....

off topic a bit ... what would be a reasonable mileage on a full tank (98) of w204 ? i doing my first tank (just bought a second hand car) .. 630 km till warning light ... (C and S mode activated for periods) .. reasonable FC ?

 

Also would pumping Ron 98 have better FC or same as Ron 95 ?
