Good Location for Car Photoshoot?

Anyone knows of where is a good location for Night Photoshoot?

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

can still go in meh ? o.O

last time i went in was 2-3 years ago and the guard was chasing me with his bicycle  :jig:

try the 1 before the official pit area entrance. I think it leads to turn 2 of the F1 GP track.

Otherwise, most carparks with sufficient street lamps turned on should be fine. Just shoot in bulb mode with a tripod and do experiment a little. Results should be decent! Good old Kallang Carpark, mmm, ever tried Lorong Halus ?

OR.. if you have a flash unit, just drive to somewhere totally dark, almost pitch black. Set your camera to bulb mode, click on the shutter and try positioning yourself at different points surrounding the car and lighting up your flash at each point before returning to the camera and closing the shutter. Totally experimental but a fun way to fine tune the relationship between machine and operator! :)

Night shots of cars seems not easy...
1.Location hard to find
2. If on headlight we are dealing with dual tone of lights ray thus need sometime to adjust settings

3. Need Tripod?

At the end of changi coast road, there is a large carpark that is often not full during the day-early evening. It's pretty scenic depending on which angle you go for, possible to have the sea and the sky in the background, maybe even with planes landing/taking off. Another place that is quite nice is up at the top of fort canning. And if an edgy theme can be considered, any large industrial park like in tuas or defu may provide an interesting contrast to some shiny cars.

There cannot be a crisis next week. My schedule is already full.

1. Not really. I've seen some really nice car photos done in HDB MSCP, or shopping mall's CP. Creativity is the key word here

2. Dont really understand the qn, is it white balance issues?

3. Bring it along if you have one. I love to shoot with tripods

Night shots are definitely not easy. You can most probably only do static shots, plus lighting is hard to control

Daytime shoots are easier for amateurs like me, free and abundant lighting available. Plus can choose to do either static or panning/moving shots. A good location with magnificent backdrop coupled with good sunset or sunrise lighting makes it easier for me to get some decent shots.
