Hi all gurus!   I have recently bought a R230 SL350, so that makes me a newbie to both Mercedes and this forum. I am currently driving a '04 model so it looks a tad dated, any advice on facelifting?

It's always BBK first... maybe a new coat of paint. .. add some aggressive bodykit if wanna turn it into batmobile. ... and do remember to wear your cape...

My neighbour mod A5 sline with gull wings...20in rims.... I think he tot can fly during expressway jams.....

Spoon feeding teaches you nothing....but the shape of the spoon...

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

Hey Storm, I have seen a few older R230 facelifted to 2008 in Singapore. Some claimed to have spent $20K but I believe you can do it below $10K. Other than the exterior panels and headlights, the other difference will be the steering wheel and seats. You can consider having it tuned by monster tune too.

I understand that the R230 has a facelift in '08? How difficult is it to facelift the '04 to that of the '08? Estimated cost?
