Paint repair price on C&C

Hi all.

 

Anyone had gone to Pandan C&C to do small / minor paint repair before? If have, what the price range?

 

Mine got a 2mm chip on my door cos my pple slam their door onto mine. Really eye soaring when seeing it.

 

Touch up paint i will give a miss cos my skill no good and will make it worst.

C&C at Ubi quoted me $500 (excl. GST) to respray my front door panel. 

 

I went to SCT to do the same panel at $180 (excl. GST).

wow.. tat's quite $$$ if done in C&C. I heard they outsource for 3rd party to do??? is tat true??

It is the same for Toyota/Lexus!!! If you do the painting at their workshop (the one @ Leng Keng for all accident repair), it will cost you about the same price...ie $450...that's why insurance premium is so high...because not only are the 3rd parties workshop jacking up the prices, the ADs are quoting ridiculous price as well....

Why not do it outside...definitely cheaper than c&c and workmanship is good.. I have done a couple of paint repair jobs on my previous n current ride....YES I am sway!

Ong Ah Pee - cheap and darn good. And pretty fast. Have used them several times over the years for various stuff - bumper scratched, car door knocked into mine dent, car reversed smashed my rear lights and side panel.
