I also encountered numerous rattling sound from the dash, and centre console...exactly like your case, when going up ramps or over bumpy surfaces. Brought to Alexandra 3 times...each time they tried their best to resolve. although improved each time, some sounds still remained. Fortunately, after 3 tries, I must say that it appears to be all resolved. Now complete peace and quiet. So, my advise to you is to be patient and keep bringing your ride back to workshop and insist on long drives on the road, even drive yourself (instead of letting them drive) to "show"them the sound that you mean. Sound is not an easy thing to diagnose and pinpoint, but for my case, it was finally settled. Good luck.

Not full steering lock just drive slow while in the multistorey c/pk in the night. The sound seems coming out from engine compartment. Light rattling sound

My is "the the the the the the the....." sound coming from the engine compartment when driving at very slow speed. Only can be heard at night when in multistorey c/pk. Maybe caused by something loose and during low speed rpm low causes it to rattle. I think have to learn to live with it cos can't afford to ever now and then leave car at pandan loop

There is a known issue with the hood/bonnet rattle. In fact, if you check Merc technical bulletins, the problem and fix has been well documented. The stopper/bumper of the bonnet has been known to rattle on the chassis on bumpy surfaces. Many have tried grease/lubrication or sticking 3M tape on the spot where the stopper/bumper contacts the chassis and appeared to ahve worked. I had the same problem too and it took two visits to Alexandra to finally pinpoint and solve it. What's your ride?

Yours maybe due to engine and gearbox mountings. My previous pre-fl c200 also encounter this when mileage about 60000km. Problem gone after changing the mounting rubber
