K&n air filter

Air flow temperature remains constant. Not much difference from with the cover close. Loss of direct airflow is obvious as the cover is removed and the air isn't pressurized. Really miss the low end torque. Gonna close the cover back.

I hve both stock paper filter & K&N filter fitted for days as to compare. Both sound similiar but paper filter air intakes rather pack/ heavy! :startle:

hmm.. OEM filter the best, K&N might allow more air in, as suggested by article below.. more dust escape filtration and thus causes damages to engine and MAF.. look at the dust accumulated only after 500miles usage.

How does your K&N drop in filter secure when you left the filter box open? Just Curious. Wouldn't it drop out?

When the vehicle is on the move, exterior air is flowing into the engine bay and causes the hot air from the engine to flow out. The question is, will the engine bay air temp remains hot even when the vehicle is on the move?
