  1. Hi guys, I have a B200 Chrome 2012 model, mileage now 100k, recently there seems to be some blooping sound, sort of like a hollow knock whenever I go at low speed over rough roads, at high speed it's much less significant. It's not a squeaky sound so probably not the suspension and the car also does not bob up and down. I thought it was the stuff in the boot, I emptied it all but the sound persists. It seems to be getting more pronounced. Someone told me it could some leaky valve or the shock absorber. Any one has experience in this? Thanks.
  2. I am selling under local warranty, full set with adjustment tool. Details below. https://www.kwsuspensions.net/products/coilovers/street_comfort Reason for selling is because it is still too hard for me. Installed around April 2018 and clocked about 1,500 km. Paid $2,850 and is willing to let go at a reasonable offer. Looking to close at around $2000. Can deal in person for goods transfer or meet at autovox distributor workshop. You need to check the cost of installation from them. I estimate is around $240 with wheel alignment at auto Kinetics. PM me with offer if keen. Regards
  3. Hi Everyone, This is a newbie question. First you have to pardon me as this is my first Mercedes, coming over after 15 years of Audi. My comparison might be an apple to orange too. This is my day 7 of my ride. Compared to the state of my last A6 at the age of 9.4 years, below is my review. 1. I find the suspension is very hard. Every single dent on the road can be easily felt. 2. At times, I can feel the car wobble a bit on uneven roads. 3. Wind noise is pretty high pitch at a mere 80km/h My possible deductions are : 1. Runflat+Bridgestone. A super hard combination? I am a big Michelin PSS fan. 2. Suspension is still new and my car is not equipped with adaptive damping system. 3. I need to get use to A180 as I should not benchmark against A6. Doing a quick poll to see if anyone experiencing this? Have anyone done anything effective to improve the ride? I am thinking about the following : 1. Is there such a thing as an after market adaptive damping suspension upgrade? 2. Changing to regular tyres. 3 Doing cabin insulation. Thanks for reading. Comments and suggestions welcome. Cheers
  4. Took delivery of a new W205 C180 9G-Tronic. 17 inch rims, standard steel suspension. Everything about the car is perfect except for the suspension. Didn't really feel the firmness of the ride during the test drive but only after driving for a few weeks. I wouldn't say that the suspension is very terrible, but definitely not what I would expect from a Mercedes Benz. The car is particularly uncomfortable over larger potholes. Surprisingly compared to the 3 Series this version of the C Class feels less compliant overall. Anyone feels the same way too? Thinking of changing the run flat tires to normal tires but would that void the warranty from C&C?

  8. Hi my 2012 pfl e250 87k suspension is almost due,I feel the bounce more than most lately. now the Q is which route should I go? should I take the oem route(logical) ,which I think is a sach or should I look@ a bilstein? It sounds pretty straight forward BUT i ' ve basically travel dis route before with my previous ride a pfl w204,I actually change 2 shocks in a space of 3 months ! i purchase a new sach but I found it to b way too soft NOT much different from the one dat I replace ! I dun realli fancy a bilstein always reckon it to way too hard for a family saloon till dis shop convince me dey fitted a couple for the c class,go for the basic bilstein&it Wun b too hard. Well,I dun realli noe y the oem sach is so soft, suppose it's quite decent when its new but now, everything worn, including all d linkages. what u guys reckon? chip in on yr thought? thanks
