  4. BRAKE FAILURE How to Avoid Brake Failure? Brake Fluid is vitally important to avoid Brake Failure thus, checking regularly on the fluid level must be done. If the brake fluid is below minimum, you need to refill it with fluid specified in the filler cap (DOT 3 or DOT 4). Brake fluid is stored in the master brake cylinder reservoir which is usually a translucent plastic container on top of the master cylinder that allows you to see the fluid level inside without having to remove the filler cap. Opening the cap unnecessarily should be avoided because it allows moist air to enter the reservoir, and moisture is not good for brake fluid. Why Choose BOSCH BRAKE FLUID? Bosch brake fluids have been specially formulated with a high wet and dry boiling point to prevent the formation of vapor bubbles, improving braking efficiency. They offer excellent viscosity at varying temperatures and exceed all DOT standards. Bosch offers two brake fluid products: DOT 3: economic option for older vehicles, slow driving and less frequent braking DOT 4: standard option for newer cars, fast driving and frequent braking You should change your brake fluid every 20,000 km or every two years, whichever comes first.
