  1. No frays on seatbelt at all, low signs of usage. All service records from a day 1 fully verifiable with CnC. The Merc is parked 10 Ubi Crescent Ubi TechPark - Lobby D Singapore 408564 for viewing Park at Lobby D 18G, Basement Carpark.
  2. Hi mod, pl delete if inappropriate. Thanks WTS: $88k ONO for a 33k mileage S300L (W221) with fully verifiable CNC service records from day 1! 100% accident free, car is almost in showroom conditions! First registered in 2007 Mar, the renewed coe (around $50k+) will expire in 2027 Mar with around 8.5 years remaining. At $88k, annual depreciation is at around $10.3k region per annum. Road tax has just been renewed for another 6 month. NO REPAIRS required for now, this Problem-free car with extremely low mileage will help new owner save much on future repair and replacement cost. The original paint works is protected by twice applied glass coatings! 19 inch original AMG rims come with new rear Tyres. Car comes with new FRONT airmatics, new steering angle sensor and 3 new speed sensors. Both batteries (front for cranking and big rear for utilities) were replaced recently. Previous owner (a senior CNC Staff) changed the gearbox valve body and all the chrome external parts including grills and emblems etc. Current owner’s (a senior banker) 2nd car, his office carpark is a little too tight for pleasure driving and leisure parking. View to believe: Car is now consigned to a dealer, car parked at 10 Ubi Crescent, Ubi TechPark - Singapore 408564, Lobby D Carpark. Existing car plate number will be retained. Pl sms WhatsApp *97 four 5 five five 4 3* for more info or prior to viewing. No dealers please. Thanks.

  4. Thanks all for your guidance. Im quite sure old car smell doesnt come from aircon but possibly the degraded plastic or leather or uphostry. Perhaps will try the sonax aircon treatment first to confirm source of bad smell is not from aircon.
  5. Available on eBay at about 900 usd but fits only w221 with HID and not halogen. Does ahyone one know how to convert from halogen to install this? THanks.
  6. 10 to 11l per 100km is seriously very impressive! Wow.
  7. Hi all, for some reasons, the ageing Merc’s and even BMW all have this “old car smells” which is quite difficult to get rid of. The smell does not come from the leather seats and my wife who has a very sharp sense of smell commented that smell is from the plastic parts whereas some friends told me old car are musky and could be mouldy so advised me to sun tan the car. I suntanned the car but the smell still lingers. I did try a fairly expensive order remover on the upholstery and carpets which seems to light hem the smell. Any advise how how getting rid of the old car smell for my 11 year old w221? Thanks guys.
  8. Hi My center rear Head rest also could not be lowered. Sent to WS and CC, no faults registered (air-pump). Read up some forums and faults could be air pumps or leaky air tubes. I didnt repair it bu simply remove the center headrest and replace the empty slow with a tissue box
  9. Hi, 4 speed sensor wires once at each wheel. Speed sensors/steering angle sensor faults are usually associated with ESP and ABS, and/or run flat. Seems like yours is a GB issues. If u don’t intend to renew COE, probably pray car could last till COE expires. Once u put in money to repair or overhaul GB, likely u will start to comtempkate renewing COE.
  10. Wow! S class forums are usually quiet until recently! Thanks all for the comments and contribution and sharing of experience and knowledge. I renewed COE in Mar this year for my W221 which clocked 24k till date. What drives me crazy was the squeaky front passenger headrest which no one has solution for including CNC. The center console lock also gave way. Otherwise, All parts are working well for such a "young" car so far, have replaced both front struts and batteries though. Btw, How long would the rear struts usually last? The rubber covers on rear struts broke, wonder how much longer can they last? Thanks all.
  11. Hard to estimate the remaining lifespan of the struts as they breakdown without prior signs. One way to know if your struts will be dying soon is to check for cracks or tears on the black rubber dust cover on the struts. If there are tears, the struts will die prematurely.
