C 180

Hi,

I just bought the 2016 C180. I find the anti glare mirrors a problem during night driving . These are the rear and right side mirrors and I cannot see clearly the cars when switching lane in the expressway.I find it unsafe at times. I have spoken to C&C and they cant do anything. Is there anyway to disable the antiglare mode? Need help. Thanks

In my opinion ... it is a matter of getting used to it.

I had issue with it when I just got the car, since I got to use and I actually find it safer as it does not "blind" you.

When I first came across the anti-glare mirrors, I found them irritating too. Unlike other makes which has a switch to disable the system, there's no other way of disabling the system besides sticking a tap over the sensor which I found unsightly. Subsequently, I got used to the anti glare and it doesn't bother me anymore.
