Mercedes Steering Swap - Project SLS63 Steering into SLK R171

Step 1 : A big tick in check box,

Finally managed to get sls63 AMG steering to sit nicely into SLK R171 steering column & clock spring

Step 2 : sourcing for a 5-10mm aluminum spacer to space steering away from steering stalk

Step 3 : steering column sleeve or housing to close up the gap, between new steering and clock spring

Step 4 : awaiting buttons rewiring

Meanwhile, driving around with this new steering feels great!

Thks Bro. Steering column, I've got SPT guys to help grind in down to right diameter. Installation @ Autospritz. Gauge on right corner? That's ultraguage.

Cheers Bro. Indeed! Went to most workshops locally to make this happen. Sadly all thought I was crazy, and claimed this mod was almost impossible. Really appreciate this new look, seems as though this steering meant to mate w SLK
