Hi bro level z,

yes, do pm me the contact. So far I have encounter two dealers to have it but one quoted me $90 with stock and another $85, have to place order, though both I didnt ask if they are with GST.  :startle:

Maybe check again with them tomorrow.

Can I check with you, is it common to change the wiper after just a year? I got my new ride last Aug and recently the juddering started. Even I tried to clean them and wipe them with alcohol wipe (as recommended by the C&C service line), it will come back juddering after a while. So kinda decided to change it before it damages the windscreen surface.

Many thanks for any inputs on this or the stockist contact.

cheers!

Go to Goldenlink any branch!

IIRC OEM about $40+ & original MB about $90.

I paid $40+ for OEM -W212 7 mths still running well.

Easy to change - 5 mins.

Cheers

bro swoosh ...

if you are changing cos of the juddering then don't in my opinion cos i changed mine too cos of that but it does not solve the problem ..

I rem Doc Jtan ever mentioned to me once during a meet up to solve his same prob on his c250, he bought a pair of silicon wiper from @uto bac but cost $160.00 a pair ..

I will PM the doc to provide more info in this thread.

regards

lz

Bought a pair at Gallop Auto, OEM, Bosch at $35 a pair for both my E and S class. All juddering problems gone.

In my opinion, no point spending $80 or 90 buying original Mercs wiper, since lifespan is usually less than 1 year due to our hot weather.

That's great, bro level z. many thanks!

And bro j888, i guess if it works for you, that's a reasonable solution too.hope the rest of the bros also can benefit from all this 'noob' question i have. :)

Hi TS, the silicone ones that I'm using is called PIAA. It's available in Autobacs at $160. They are the best! No more juddering for me....changed 3 times happily.

Imho wiper last about a year.

$160 I can buy 4 set oem wipers...hehehe

Bought my oem from Goldenlink - 6 mths no juddering.

Heng ah! :)

Cheers

Bro sw00sh,

If you are changing cos of the judders and not because the wiper is worn off ..

try this - i pick it up from this forum a few weeks back,

use the clay bar on your front windscreen. I wash my car myself and has been doing this for a few weeks. It does help provided it does not rains everyday. The smooth wiping effects goes off after a while but better than the judders.  :)
