Dash board rattle

Anyone experienced rattling at dashboard some where close to center speaker area for your car? It suddenly appeared. My car is a 08 w204

Sigh wonder anyone had managed to fix it? Read and search online tat it is a common issue and need to remove entire dashboard to trace....

Same here!!! I though I was the only one..it came around after 30k Servicing...Mines the 2012 face lifted w204..

 

How do I fix it? I have to tap the center dash area for the sound to go away..its coming from the center of the dash..where the temperature probe is I think..

Can i suggest you all give a call to camber (site sponsor)? He's an expert in the dashboard area with the right tools to remove the HU, display unit & aircon vents. Saw him strip mine in less than 1 min...seriously!
